DCE Hon. Olivia Bentil Commissions Four More Mechanized Boreholes to Boost Access to Potable Water
The District Chief Executive (DCE) Hon. Olivia Bentil has commissioned Four additional mechanized boreholes in four communities within the district as part of ongoing efforts to improve access to potable water for residents.
The newly commissioned facilities are located at Nyansakyere, Anhwiam, Fankyenko, and Esikafo Abatem.
The projects are expected to provide residents with a reliable source of clean and safe water, while helping to address water supply challenges in the beneficiary communities.
The commissioning of the four boreholes forms part of the Assembly’s commitment to providing essential infrastructure and improving the living conditions of residents across the district. Access to potable water remains an important priority, particularly in communities where residents previously faced difficulties accessing reliable water sources.
During the commissioning activities, Hon. Olivia Bentil reiterated the Assembly’s commitment to undertaking development projects that directly respond to the needs of communities and improve the quality of life of residents.
The beneficiary communities expressed their appreciation to the Assembly for the provision of the facilities and called for their proper maintenance to ensure their sustainability and continued benefit to residents.
