In a significant boost to healthcare delivery in the district, the District Chief Executive (DCE) officially handed over the renovated District Health Center to the Head of the District Health Directorate.

The brief meeting, held at the health center premises, marked the completion of renovation works aimed at improving infrastructure, enhancing patient care, and creating a more conducive working environment for health professionals.

The DCE, Hon. Olivia Bentil commended the contractors for their timely execution and reaffirmed the assembly’s commitment to prioritizing health in its development agenda.

The Head of the District Health Directorate expressed gratitude for the support and emphasized that the upgraded facility would greatly improve service delivery, especially in maternal health and outpatient care.
