On 27th October 2025, a sod-cutting ceremony led by the Hon. Olivia Bentil (DCE)and Mrs. Sally Mahamah DCD was held at Akroma in the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District to launch the construction of a 3-unit classroom block and a 4-seater toilet facility Sponsored by ECOM Ghana, this initiative highlights the power of collaboration between the private sector and government in driving community development.

The project, set to be completed in three months, aims to enhance education and sanitation, bringing dignity to the community. Gratitude was expressed to ECOM Ghana for its ongoing support, and a call was made for other organizations to invest in similar impactful projects to help transform the District into a beacon of progress
