The Centre for Employment of Persons with Disabilities (CEPD) in collaboration with the Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry (CEM) headed by the General overseer of the Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry (CEM) invited Persons With Disabilites in the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District to a program dubbed the “DAY OF HELP” in the Central Region.
The Day of Help which was scheduled on the 18th October 2024 at the ADISADELL COLLAGE, Cape Coast, had about 5,000 persons with disabilities in the 22 districts whoparticipated in the program.
The program involved free health screening and dispensing of drugs, dental and eye services, distribution of clothes, food items, soap, towels and other toiletries and mattresses. There will be other assistive devices such as wheelchairs, clutches, white canes, sun glasses, body lotion etc for all the 22 districts in the region.
